If the PDF is for printing, pick the paper size you'll print on — images are centered with a margin. If it's for viewing or archiving, fit-to-image keeps each page exactly the shape of its photo.
Does converting reduce my photo quality?
No — your JPG data is embedded into the PDF as-is, without re-encoding. What you see in the PDF is pixel-identical to the original photo.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
