How to use the image resizer

Enter a width, a height, or both. With “keep aspect ratio” on, images scale to fit your size without distortion.
Click Resize, then check the new dimensions shown on each file.

Good to know
With aspect ratio locked, your images are scaled to fit within the box you set — nothing gets stretched.
Unchecking “keep aspect ratio” stretches images to exactly the width and height you enter.
Downscaling keeps images sharp. Upscaling beyond the original size works, but can't invent detail that isn't there.
The new dimensions are added to each filename, like photo-1200x800.jpg.
Frequently asked questions
Can I resize several images to the same size at once?
Yes — drop in a whole batch and every image is resized with the same settings. With aspect ratio on, each image fits your bounds using its own proportions.
What happens if I only enter a width?
The height is calculated automatically from each image's aspect ratio — handy for making a set of images all the same width.
Does resizing reduce image quality?
Making an image smaller keeps it crisp — we use high-quality scaling. Enlarging an image can't add real detail, so big upscales may look soft.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Resizing runs entirely in your browser — your images never leave your device.
